Yes. Money Tracker is free to download, and everyday tracking, categories, budgets and reports work in the free version, which shows ads. An optional yearly Premium plan removes ads and unlocks extras such as unlimited AI entry, bill import, automatic notification entry on Android, app lock and more books and accounts.
No. Money Tracker does not link to your bank and never asks for your bank login. To save typing, Android users can turn on Smart Notification Entry (Premium), which reads transaction notifications from banking or payment apps and adds them after you confirm. On both platforms you can schedule recurring transactions such as rent, add expenses by voice or photo, and import statements from CSV, Excel, PDF or images (Premium).
Money Tracker never asks for your bank username or password. Notification entries are only saved after you confirm them, and you can block any app from being read. If you don't sign in, your records stay on your phone. If you sign in, they are backed up to your Money Tracker account. You can export your data at any time, delete all of it from the device and the cloud in Settings, and Premium adds a passcode or fingerprint / Face ID lock.
Yes. Hold the mic and say something like "lunch 12" or "got my salary 3000", or take a photo of a receipt or a bill screenshot. The AI fills in the amount, category and date, and you can check and edit everything before it is saved. Free users get a trial allowance, and Premium is unlimited.
Yes. Ask the AI assistant in plain words, such as "How much did I spend on food this month?" or "How much budget is left?", and it answers from your own records. You can also add a transaction just by typing it in the chat. Free users have a limited number of chats per day.
Yes. Set an overall monthly budget and limits for individual categories, then see how much is left as you spend. Money Tracker reminds you when you go over budget, and Premium lets you choose the day your budget month starts.
Sign in, and your records are backed up automatically and sync across your devices. On a new phone, install Money Tracker and sign in with the same account to get your data back. Yes, in three ways. A split (AA) book is for trips, group dinners or shared rent: record who paid, split the cost equally, by amount, by shares or by percentage, and see who owes whom. A team book lets family or a small group keep one ledger together. Data sharing shows two people's records in one view while each keeps their own data. Split books are free. Team books, sending a data sharing invite and smart settle-up need Premium, and accepting an invite is free.
